Dear Clubs,
Through Belfast City Councils Sports Development Team there is an opportunity for boxing clubs to avail of funding up to the sum of £500 in order to run a summer programme for potential new members within their local communities. Clubs would be expected to advertise and recruit participants to this programme or could link in with a local youth or community organisation. This would be expected to run for one full week Monday to Friday July/August for 2 hours per day in BCC Parks or open spaces and funding can be spent on coaching costs or equipment purchase. This initiative is a great opportunity to get your clubs back out into the local community and potentially sign up some new members.
